With over 20+ years of experience in baseball, Drew played from the time he was 5 years old until he finished his college career. After pitching for two years at Cleveland State CC and two years at East Tennessee State University, he trained at Driveline Baseball in Seattle, Washington. 

 

After his playing career, he began coaching at Hardin Valley Academy in the summer of 2018. In the 4 years that he has been at HVA, their pitching staff has improved in virtually every category.

After 6 years in the high school ranks as the pitching coach of Hardin Valley Academy, Drew spent one year as the pitching coach at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, TN. 

In one year as the pitching coach at Cleveland State, the pitching staff finished 2nd in the conference in the following categories:

• ERA

• Strikeouts

• K/9

Drew currently works as the Director of Pitching at Chapman Baseball Compound in Irvine, CA. He is responsible for initial evaluations of new athletes, programming for all pitching athletes, collaboration with strength and conditioning staff and pitching development strategies.
